About Us

InterBulk has achieved its market leading status through a series of strategic acquisitions, developing revolutionary technology to dramatically improve the efficiency of bulk transportation systems, and a total commitment to customer service.

The InterBulk Group was formed in 2004 with the vision of creating a global platform capable of providing a range of intermodal solutions for any liquid, powder or granulated material anywhere in the world.

In February 2006 InterBulk acquired United Transport Containers (UTT), the third largest tank container operating company in the world  focusing in the bulk transport of chemicals.

In 2007 InterBulk acquired UBC, Europe’s largest dry bulk container operating company, operating innovative dry-liner technology and specialising in dry bulk door to door services to polymer, food and chemical suppliers.

InterBulk now operates as two Divisions: The Dry Bulk Division and The Liquid Bulk Division.

Customers of the Dry Bulk Division have the choice of using the highly acclaimed ISO-Veyors for minerals and cementitious materials or FlexiLiner plus Bag in Box for free flowing granular materials, while the Liquid Bulk Division offers the choice of ISO Tanks or FlexiTanks depending on the nature of the cargo.

All four options utilise intermodal technologies which means that once filled they can easily be transferred across common infrastructure - across road, rail and sea, eliminating wasteful transfers to and from bunkers, silos or other storage facilities.

Underpinning the success of the Dry and Liquid Bulk Divisions is the work of the company’s technology arm, InBulk Technologies.

Through core competencies in pnuematic conveying technology InBulk developed the use of compressed air to facilitate the discharge of dry cargoes like fly ash without tipping the container.

InBulk has gone on to develop the ISO Veyor range of intermodal ISO-Tanks for dry bulk materials.

ISO Veyors ensure maximum payloads, excellent discharge performance, with minimal tare weight and residue. They are available to purchase or lease and also as 'door-to-door' logistics package.
